KeyTheme-Graphics have multiple applications not the least of which is for their intended purpose of adding a unique themes to PowerPoint presentations.
..... Although Apple Keynote holds onto a slim advantage, it is a PC world dominated by Microsoft Office. Not surprising that the overwhelming majority of computer generated slide shows are presented with PowerPoint.
.....Just to prove that I also own a PC and use MS Office, I created all the graphics on this page using PowerPoint. That is, I employed PowerPoint to add the drop shadow effect and from there imported a screenshot into Adobe Photoshop to crop, slice, and reduce for the web.

Flexible graphic proportions adds a powerful advantage as a PowerPoint background when using Keytheme-Graphics. Unfortunately though, Microsoft failed to anticipate Keytheme-Graphics in that they did not incorporate a Keynote feature that allows for adjusting the graphic, forward or backward (moving a graphic file to the top or at the bottom of a stack of graphics).
.....The simple workaround for this is to simply cut-and-paste the graphics in the desired order. In fact, this technique works exceptionally well for placing photographs and charts precisely on the presentation slide.

.....The bevel to the graphics were added by Alien Skin Software (alienskin.com/), Eye Candy bundle. If you figure the cost of Adobe Design Premium CS3 (adobe.com/) plus Eye Candy, you will spend a little over $800 in software alone, and that just to produces your first free PowerPoint theme.

PowerPoint downloads are easy to come, even so called FREE PowerPoint themes are widely available. But you get what you pay for as the saying goes and $39, delivered, is not all that much when you consider what you get as compared to all other such graphic collections. I have looked and have found nothing the even comes close.
.....The Tan Felt Theme displayed to the immediate left is a good example. The idea is to enhance the presentation, not to overpower it. Tan Felt presents itself in a soft, quiet, and understated demeanor and enjoys all the fine qualities required to promote your next PowerPoint presentation.
.....Keep in mind though, as you peruse through the next 3 pages of themes, that I selected them for page compatibilities and not according to my personal favorites. Indeed, for my upcoming lecture on men's health I selected Clipboard, which is displayed at the top of the last page. I will tell you more about this theme when the time comes. |
